To approved dams and under limited availability, we make known to you our proven sire, with proven show records and health tested.

To be considered for our proven sire we would require:

A signed stud contract agreement.
A copy of female's original pedigree.
A copy of completed DNA for both AKC & ASCA
A Copy of completed health testing of the female to include: OFA hips/elbows, OFA Eyes current, and Aussie Health Panel to include: CEA, HC, MDR1, HC, CMR1, CD, DM
A copy of OFA Teeth Evaluation signed by a veterinarian.

Stud contract signed may be mailed or sent as a PDF file for our evaluation along with pedigree, AKC & ASCA DNA, health test results, OFA hip/elbows, OFA teeth.

Per our contract agreement, full litter using our stud must be registered AKC and ASCA.

Prior to breeding a veterinarian paperwork within two weeks prior of clear brucellosis test results required for both sire and dam.

For approved female only, all paperwork is required to be complete and a deposit fee is expected, before breeding. "Great Spirit Aussies Stud Contract" is available upon request. Email australian.shepherds.us@gmail.com

Pelger-Huet Anomaly (PHA) test $20 fee + any vet blood draw fee (Submit 2 blood samples per dog) Please, see my "Breed Health Test" page for further PHA test instructions and address.

For DNA tests AKC & ASCA please check with each organization as they have their own required official lab and requirements. (These tests can be time consuming, (8 weeks) so plan well ahead.)

For brucellosis testing your local veterinarian should be able to preform this test for you within two weeks of breeding.

We at Great Spirit wish to preserve the Australian shepherd by breeding to the breed standard and maintaining the best health possible through testing exams of our Great Spirit Australian shepherds. In addition, our Great Spirit puppies are health tested prior to joining their families. We promote and breed according to the Australian Shepherd breed standard.
